STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. STEM is still the more prevalent acronym in education. Our STREAM Education program is designed to integrate Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in engaging and interactive activities. STREAM concepts are access points for guiding youth inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century. One of the main goals of STREAM Education is to teach youth to think critically using their reading, math, science, and technology skills combined with having an engineering or artistic design approach towards solving real-world problems.
WHY STEM/STREAM
STREAM is important because it pervades every part of our lives. Science is everywhere in the world around us. Technology is continuously expanding into every aspect of our lives. Reading is the ultimate foundation of everything and can not be overlooked. It is by far the most fundamental part of learning. Engineers will help us travel into space safely and efficiently, and navigate through well constructed highways and beyond. The Arts allow individuals to express their creativity and design esthetics in unique ways using varied mediums. Mathematics allow many things in society to function properly. Bridges, medicine, architecture, cars, farming, finances and much more require the use of mathematics. Without math, we would not have come as far as we have in society.

OUR APPROACH
STEM/ STREAM EVENTS
Our STREAM events generate enthusiasm and excitement for science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathematics careers. During our events, we get everyone involved in fun hands-on activities that stimulate critical thinking. Some events have stations and some are taught to the whole group. We want all youth to be exposed to STEM/STREAM education regardless of their economic status because we believe that everything is possible and kids can do anything.
STREAM FAMILY EVENTS
STREAM family events are always family fun-filled events for everyone. We work with schools and organizations to put together STREAM explorations for the whole family to enjoy. Families get to explore science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathetics in a fun way. The events include everything from robotics and space to technology and activities covering several STREAM careers. We work together with the administration, teachers, and the whole staff to create an unforgettable and educational event.
STREAMchella
Our STREAMchella events are always the talk of the town. Kids are so excited to see all of the characters, performance artists, and to get inspired by the keynote speakers. We have hands-on engaging STREAM stations for them to explore. Every station hosts make-and-take activities, so the kids leave with several small STREAM artifacts. Local volunteers, current and retired teachers, local leaders, and celebrities volunteer their services and sponsorships ensure underprivileged kids receive STREAM educational opportunitites.

SIMONE BRIDGES
She loves all areas of Science, especially Chemistry. Science is all around us. Simone hopes that exposing youth to STEM/STREAM and giving them opportunities to explore STEM/STREAM related concepts, they will develop a passion for it and hopefully pursue a job in STEM/STREAM fields.
SCIENCE
SKYLAR JOHNSON
She knows the import effect of technology is on daily living. She teaches coding, computer skills and tech knowledge, so we can be competitive globally. Her dog, Browser helps her research engaging methods to help youth fall in love with STREAM and to become tech savvy.
TECHNOLOGY
BOSS WILLIAMS
He is an avid reader who truly believes that reading is fundamental. It's the foundation and cornerstone to developing stronger social skills, vocabulary and writing skills. Reading helps youth better understand and process more complex ideas. It also expands their ability to build knowledge overall.
READING
DANIEL JORDAN
He loves to solve problem using hands on constructing and deconstructing. Daniel uses his creative skills, infrastructure and architecture knowledge to develop new foundations. He's also very innovative when putting his own spin on existing creations. He believes that kids are natural engineers.
ENGINEERING
JASMINE BRIDGES
Everyone gets to be who they are through the arts. Jasmine loves art, music, acting, peace and harmony. She also loves the Earth's natural beauty. She believes the arts allow youth to figure out who they are or who they want to become. Peace, love and happiness is the mantra that she lives by.
ART
KATINA WILLIAMS
Numbers will always be a vital part of daily living because math is everywhere. Katina loves to measure, create and solve formulas, count, and more. She was born a math wiz and she aims to engage other kids in interactive math activities. Math is an essential part of STREAM education.
